bit late but
my 2 cents would say your showing to much and not enough..
Should be a smaller description 150-200 words or less, play button and rating under that or in a chrome around the image and the 3 top "terms" or taxonomy of the game under the description or above if the first options used. Probably a page link via the title & description link block around it & visual feed hover/more link to show it.
When looking for games people will probably look in this order, picture, terms, rating, description, and play button.
take: http://www.kongregate.com/games for example and yes play counts would be good along with the rating though a play by day average would be better since some games are hot 1 day then not the next.
No sketch but hope that makes sense, I can see it in my head and it looks good so does what you have though.
Edit: oh and remove user name/picture except on full view.
