We should meet, preferably on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening.
I'm open to any of the venues that have been discussed at http://groups.drupal.org/node/142504 I expect we should plan for at least 20 people though, based on the turnout last time.
I'd like to include a tutorial, and there are several suggestions here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/143584 Brandon has offered to present on Custom Theming (From PSD to Theme), Views and Panels, or Imagecache, all of which are good beginner/intermediate topics. I'm open to other suggestions as well.
I'd like to see us have a short 'business meeting' as well to discuss possible volunteer projects, engaging new members, and following up on other Sticky Note topics (Module development, Be active on this forum!, Community project, Drupal Camp, Speakers and presentations, Training sessions, "Educate the masses")
Hello. I think D7 Custom Theming (PSD to Theme) would be great, and any other beginner/intermediate topics. I am two hours away from London though so a Saturday would work best in my situation. Otherwise, I wonder if "live video streaming" is possible, so those who can't come to London on that day can still participate. Or at least a video upload to some site for viewing later on. Thanks.
Much like our Drupal Community on the West Coast, most Drupalistas in groups.drupal.org are skilled in Drupal and often do not require beginner training.
In our experience on the West Coast, often our beginners come to the meet ups to look for some help.
Since I am not in London, I wanted to see if your Drupal Community would help and make an announcement at the meet up to see if we can continue to support the new Drupalistas in gaining the skills they need.

It will be a fairly entry level:
What are panels, basic usage to combine multiple views on a page, node replacement using panels, styling tips...
Training for New Drupalers?
We have a few people in the London community that are keen to take our Drupal Site Builders Class in late June or early July.
