Orders and logistics
Client order system, stock management database, transport logistics system, and a product and salesperson database.

Currently using it to track clients, and all their relevant information. Each client node has all invoices, quotes, spec sheets, designs etc. connected via a nodereference.
Makes it a snap to look up a client and have everything I need immediately at hand...

Document Scanning Management
I created a custom module to manage a ~100K page document scanning job. A group of user entered meta data about each document and sticked a barcode printed by the module. Scanned documents stored in a specific folder (named by the scanner reading the barcode) and Drupal module checks if each document stored in the database is actually scanned. This is the basic of the process, there was many details.
Thanks to great modular system of Drupal, I wrote this module in a couple of days.
OpenID
I wanted a cool OpenID, so I got the callna.me domain and installed Drupal 6 with the OpenID Provider module. If you're interested, I've talked more about this in a thread at Y Combinator News.
FireFox extension
I developed a FireFox extension which uses Drupal to store & retrieve data, and also serve up Drupal Forms which are displayed by the firefox extension.
I'm planning to give a short talk about it at the Drupal UK North West user group one day.....

i reckon an irc bot is a fairly insanely awesome use of drupal. Keeping track of systems, and unittest results into the corporate irc server so everyone know who broke 50 tests in the last submit.
