Hmm...
I registered a half hour ago, but haven't seen the promised email yet. I realize that Yahoo is not the most reliable, but did I do something wrong?

Hrm...
I'd check your spam folder. I had some during development that gmail didn't like.. If you don't see anything, try password reset...

I got my email.
This could be yahoo greylisting communication from the camp website server.
Nope
I have this exact same problem with Mollom and Dries had to do something, but I don't remember what. No spam; reset didn't send either. Yes, my address was typed correctly.

Using Yahoo email address worked for me...
Looks like the drupalcamp nh website is on slicehost, and the MX (mail exchanger) record for drupalcampnh.org is the same machine (dg1.developmentgeeks.com) ... which means it should at least be possible for the admins there to look at the outgoing mail log and see what happened.
e.g. given an OS of Debian (Lenny), something like
grep nancydru /var/log/mail.???
I reactivated my yahoo mail account to test registering with it, and it worked, btw... so at least yahoo isn't greylisted at the moment or blacklisted.
...
Nancy, just checked both the mail logs (found nothing) and the account settings...
Aside from one other user with his own mail server with strict settings on the server requiring a fully qualified domain name on reverse DNS, there haven't been any issues. I've had this server up for quite some time (rackspace cloud) and it hosts many of my sites, which generate mail from Drupal on a daily basis, and has no issues.
Not sure what else to do besides set you a default password and have you login & change it, or remove the account and have you try again. (resetting password seems easiest)

I have a yahoo account and registered with no problems, I know from having yahoo for years there can be a lag time getting the email. If you have not gotten it by now I would try sending it again.

Found the bounce msg finally.
Nancy, finally found the bounce message in the "noreply" account I setup on my google apps domain. Funny google marked this (and one other aforementioned email issue as spam on the bounce msg)
There is no reason my server is blocked for ANY legitimate system. It's on the Rackspace cloud, and it simply appears that ATT/Bellsouth systems have put out a huge chunk of servers on some rather large hosts. I submitted their form, but I'm more inclined to recommend getting a real yahoo/gmail account! :P
Please email me through the contact form, and I'll send you back a temp password.

Yeah
While Bellsouth uses Yahoo Mail, they apparently do some processing on the front end. I have had this problem before, but it seems to be getting more frequent. They seem to block servers at the drop of a hat; and yet so much spam still gets through.

Awesome job on the DrupalCamp
Awesome job on the DrupalCamp today everybody.
Jake and Michelle... kudos to you both for all the hard work planning and organizing.
My only regret was that the snow forced me to leave the after-party early.

I second Rogers comments Great Job Jake!!! Wish I could have gone to the after party but I don't think I would have made it home. As it was some of the roads were not plowed my Sienna handled them ok but the next vehicle will be 4WD. :)

Yes, great job on DrupalCamp, learned a lot!
I thought the day was very well-organized and the sessions were strong, and the location/overall tone was very professional. Amazing for the price of $0! I have been to similar-sized paid conferences which were much less professionally presented and where I got a lot less out of them. Very well done. Thank you!!!!

Oh my Gosh I meant to thank you too Michelle sorry about that,

Had an amazing time - thanks!
Michelle and Jake - congratulations on a fantastic event, no matter about the weather! The after party was a blast, and a good diversion from dealing with driving home. Roads today were (mostly) fine!
A huge thanks to everyone who participated in my sessions too - the conversations in the EDU session in the morning were just great, as was the participation in my type talk (even with the snow starting already!).
Cheers everyone!

I'll add in my thanks and congrats on a great Camp!
It was great getting to talk Drupal with everyone.
The drive home wasn't too bad. Took my time, went 30mph most of the way home, and it was almost pretty. ;)
awesome job everyone!
A HUGE thanks to Jake for doing the vast majority of the work on this camp - it was tremendously well done, everything was very professional looking and sets the bar for future camps! Also thanks to Michelle and all of the volunteers for really pulling the day together, it all worked out wonderfully well.
Thank you all!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first time travelling away from home for a camp. I got to meet people that I only knew previously from online contact and others that I hadn't yet met online. Hats off to Jake and Michelle for their excellent planning and execution of what for me was a flawless Drupal Camp.
Just wanted...
Now that I finally found a place with Internet and power, I wanted to jump in here quick and say thanks! It was a great day and worth the drive up and dealing with the weather. Thanks again!
