Anyone using something other than Google Analytics?

Hi, is everyone using Google Analytics? There must be other, tools. I'd like to know what you are using and what we should be running on Drupal.org.

im using it. Its okay, gives a nice easy to read page. There is a little problem with access control - by default the page is public!
It doesn't really add anything that a standards stats page doesn't give you. In fact it is much less comprehensive, but like is said, its easy to read your recent stats.

Sawmill

I've been a fan of Sawmill for quite some time, and wrote a module with some basic support for it. I haven't upgraded it to 5.x yet ... hasn't been a priority. But the tool works nicely in 4.7

I expect most log analysis tools' "hit" results will be skewed by AJAX, AHAH and the work on dynamic page/block loads, but the module adds accuracy to visit counts through JavaScript.

A new service available is http://www.reinvigorate.net/
it is still in early beta phase but looks very promising

Update: I'm very happy with reinvigorate - looks good, has nice stats and works well.
I wrote a drupal module for the site which you can compare with the google analytics module available at drupal.org.
You can download it at reinvigorate.net

I've been using mint. It's a very nice tool that seems to work well.

Mint

For the record, Mint is here: http://www.haveamint.com/

Integration looks much like that of Sawmill. $footer injection should be trivial, either as a module or just a block.

General server log tools fail in Drupal multi-site installations

Just be aware of this. A normal Apache log doesn't contain enough information to separate the sites in a Drupal multi-site installation.

The general tools will work well for a single-site installation though.

Visitors and Piwik

I've been using Visitors since reading about it in a thread at Y Combinator News. That thread discusses other analyzers, too.

There's a module that integrates Drupal with Piwik, an open source alternative to Google Analytics. It's for Drupal 6 only, though, and I haven't tried it yet.
