SANDcamp meeting kick-off at the Coffee Bean in Mission Valley (the former Borders shopping center). They have a nice patio, good wi-fi and we can adjourn for lunch to Fuddruckers. Sorry not to be able to provide more date availability I am traveling 3/4 weeks this month. Hope to see everyone there, will be good to see everyone.

This is showing up in the calendar for 2012 ... are we re-using the node on purpose? Sep 25 is also not a sunday anymore, do we want to have a 4hr meeting on a tuesday?
I suggest we need at least one camp organizer committed to going to all meetups between now and camps and reporting on camp planning activities to the user group. Especially important would be letting them know about important upcoming votes (budget, venue, ticket price, business summit, &c.) and their results, how to get involved if you're interested.
I was not very involved last year, but from my outsider perspective the user group felt left out of camp planning, and some decisions were made without key people present (business summit).
Let's not do Sep 25th...
I don't think that this node is being reused on purpose. I agree that we should have a rep report back to the user group, I think we can decide on that once we have the first kickoff planning meeting for 2013.
