Php Training Institutes in Delhi

gsb123 - Wed, 2009-01-21 15:08

Hi

I myself started php some time back even though i had been dabbling with php for quite some time myself i wanted to learn php from a inst / pro to save my learning time, but some how could not find any good institute in Delhi, I even visited two or three institutes called number of them but after interacting with them was just not satisfied enough to join them. If your absolute beginner into programming world you may join them but if you already have a some other prog Lang experience i feel the whole course is not more then 2 classes as they just teach absolute basic php.

To my surprise i could not fine any inst who taught things like smarty/cake php/zend etc..

I would suggest you to find php training books and video tutorials on the net and start doing it yourself.

or the best bet is get in touch with a php professional and learn from him

you may get in touch with me at gursharanbhatia@gmail.com and may be i may help you in some way.

I second that

I think internet and open source has really opened up new dimensions to our understanding of computers and applications, These highly complex systems are entirely naked for you to appreciate and gaze at :). I think your best shot with learning drupal and php is to take short term measurable tasks, make your own website in drupal. Think of how u would want it to look, take help from fellow drupallers and achieve that. That is a good 3 -4 weeks of task for a beginner and you would be amazed how much you know about this ecosystem. things will become intuitive even if u never heard about a module or haven't read its documentation (though I endorse reading docs).

I think on your own is the best way to learn something, consider forming a team of beginner enthusiasts and achieve a common task.

php training

rohit89 - Wed, 2009-03-11 03:44

I think its mostly about self learning. No matter how good a trainer you have, you still need your will to learn.
I had tons of PHP Training CBTs on my PC but you really can't learn from that.

I already had basic knowledge about PHP but in order to learn PHP faster and same time as gsb mentioned, took training from Innobuzz (www.innobuzz.in) It actually worked out good and better then my expectations. The best part was CakePHP, i though it would be difficult with the MVN Architecture and all but after practicing and working over, cakephp is actually quite useful. However, I wont say that it is easy, Takes a bit of mind-boggling to understand it.

All in all, classroom training can help you save some time for sure.

An Alternative

I would like to add to what dipen suggested about 'becoming intuitive' You need to read.

Spend 20-30 mins every day reading blogs about the things you want to learn and in a month you will have a good understanding of things, and how they happen.

It may look like self promotion but try spending just 15 mins on http://phpcamp.net everyday for next one week and read articles that get submitted by the campers from across the web and see if it adds any thing to your knowledge base.

Also Experiment, build things as much as you can. Tweak things, write simple apps.

Do Something.Prioritize and focus.

Try IOS

rajni-gdo - Wed, 2009-03-11 11:54

I would say that try IOS ( Institute Of Open Source) for all the advanced topics in PHP, as in IOS classes are conducted only on weekends and are taken by hard core industry professionals.

Rajni

NO IOS or INNOBUZZ for ppl who have past experiance in programmi

gsb123 - Wed, 2009-03-11 14:54

Hi

seems rohit and rajni are from the seo teams of Innobuzz and IOS respectively as they are canvassing about the training institutes who do not teach any thing beyond basic php infact too basic php.

I have been to both the institutes myself personally and they accept it openly they do not teach more than basic php and to my surprise Innobuzz did not had any course formulated also for real world needs like smarty, cake php, zend studio, joomla, magento, code igniter or any other framework, i wondered if i was asking for too much.

and IOS was all handsup for this for that matter.

so i wonder people recommending these institutes for php training whats the point of the training if you may not use in the real world as far as basic php syntax, functions or mysql is concerned any one can read any basic book and understand in a day or two.

I would really appreciate Innobuzz brand building and SEO though as they have placed themselves on almost all blogs including this post and every page that has some thing to do with php technology. I belive they have more strength in SEO rather then PHP.

I have given hopes for php training institutes in Delhi and i would request the PRO's out here that yes man i am interested to learn php and all that relates to it any one intrested here to teach virtually or personally get in touch with me at gursharanbhatia at gmail.com.

The best response for any institute is offcourse word of mouth of ppl who had learned themselves there, but my friends word of mouth here on the net are 80% fake as they are placed themself by ppl who run such business in order to promote themselves.

sorry IOS and innobuzz no offense meant but that's my experience and i wonder how may ppl like me who want to learn php are not able to find the right path. I suggest you guys to work more on php then SEO and waiting to hear from you guys i am intrested to join you but when you can teach advanced php

Hey PHP PROS out there who read this post i am intrested to learn any one willing to teach either virtually or personally ??

I want to learn ZEND & Advanced Php, Cake Walk Smarty and Code Igniter

Donot Misguide the Candidates

rajni-gdo - Thu, 2009-03-12 03:51

Hi.

I would request Gursharan Bhatia not to misguide the candidates who are keen on learning the PHP ( Basic and Advanced). I think that he has some misunderstanding about IOS. IOS is an institute which is giving training to foreign students also and right now we have a foreign student who is being trained on PHP cake and Joomla.

So any body wh is having doubt is request to come to our institute on this weekend and see him self and can talk to candidates and to trainers.

Frankly speaking, Gursharan, I donot remember that you would have ever come to our institute and on phone we donot entertain much calls and 90% of them are fake. Also if a candidate is interested in advance PHP then he should also be prepared to pay according to that.

So guys if any one who is intersted in advance PHP, I would request them not to believe on any one not on me and not on any candidate just send us a mail at info@ios.net.in and fix an appoinmnet for the trial class. There is no harm in having free trial class.

Thanks,

Rajni.

IOS

My post is not to misguide but take guidance from the PRO's Here

gsb123 - Thu, 2009-03-12 05:43

Hi

Hey rajni i am not against IOS and have no reason to remark some thing against IOS. I dont teach myself php or any thing against IOS that i would stop any one to come to your Institute. So this clarifies that you are from IOS itself, this forum was not meant to be the place of self advertisement any ways even those are welcomed just say that you own it clearly rather then to put your post as a testimonial.

Infact as a matter of fact i am myself keen to learn as mentioned in my earlier post and would love to join even IOS if you guys can teach me :) and yes i had already attended demo class at IOS and 2-3 months back there was nothing like advanced php taught in IOS i am not sure if you guys have come up with advanced courses in last 2-3 months let me know here if you can take any advanced topics i would love to learn :)

Rajni please take my views as my own personnel experience and rather then retaliating to it just try improve more on your php courses.

I would like to remind you that this post was just as a quest in search of the right institute for php and all are welcomed here to put in their experience and recommendations.

If you offer such course it would be a great idea to just mention briefly about your course here so that we can all take advantage of it and enrol me as your first student :)

Clarification

rajni-gdo - Thu, 2009-03-12 07:30

Actually I am unable to recapture that you came for demo class at IOS, As I saw our records and there is no such name any how. Let me know you that in demo class you cannot expect advanced PHP. This is how we proceed:

1) HTML
2) CSS
3) Java Script
4) Basic PHP
5) My SQL
6) Advance PHP

So to expect advance PHP in very first classes is a little bit over expectation. You are most welcome to come to our institute and we will schedule demo class for PHP Cake/ drupal / smarty / Joomla, which ever you like.

Also this is not self advertisement but I am making aware candidates that there is institute which deals in advance PHP which is IOS.

I hope that you will come to our institute for advance courses.

Thanks,

Rajni

Hi Gursharan, This is Amit

Innobuzz - Wed, 2009-04-08 07:59

Hi Gursharan,

This is Amit from Innobuzz Knowledge Solutions.

Quote = "I would really appreciate Innobuzz brand building and SEO though as they have placed themselves on almost all blogs including this post and every page that has some thing to do with php technology. I belive they have more strength in SEO rather then PHP."

Thank you for your compliment regarding the SEO & PPC Campaigns by Innobuzz.

It may seem to you that we are not covering Advanced PHP, which is in fact true, we do take care of CakePHP, zoomla, smarty, zend though in a separate training program, but in the basic training program as the name suggests, we teach only the basics.

Quote = "seems rohit and rajni are from the seo teams of Innobuzz and IOS respectively as they are canvassing....."

This is not true, we have no connection with the person mentioned apart from the fact that we would have been a student. We have never indulged in misguided self-promotion.

Thank you for your time,

Thanks,
Amit
