For those of us stuck halfway between Chicago, Indianapolis, and Grand Rapids, this groups is for you.
My name is Brandon Morrison, and I've been a Michiana resident for about 3 years. I've been developing in Drupal for about 5-6 years, and I'm a co-maintainer of the Geofield and Openlayers modules. I've been a semi-regular attender of the Chicago and Indy groups for awhile now, but a few of us here in South Bend wanted to start a mini-group here in South Bend.
A few of us at work are considering doing an informal meetup of interested Drupalers, so if you're interested, please introduce yourself here.

A monthly MeetUp with a focus on technology. If you're into Android, iOs, connected technologies, Twitter, Facebook, tablet computing, DVRs, game systems, programming, hacking or any other tech topic this is the MeetUp for you.
Our focus is on discussing technology with like minds. This is not a MeetUp centered around business or how to grow your business via "social networking." Not that there is anything wrong with that. There are plenty of great MeetUps for that. We are trying to do something different.
You don't have to be a technology guru to join us, just someone that enjoys talking about some of the amazing technology that surrounds us today.
We are committed to keeping this MeetUp open to the under 21 crowd. Some of the best/brightest/tech savvy are our younger generation and we don't what to shut them out. Because of this, we will not hold the MeetUp in a venue that is a 21 and over establishment. Alcohol is not frowned upon at the MeetUps but will not be the focus. But please, no very young children. Rule of thumb is if they can carry on an intellgent tech conversation with an adult, they are at an age that is appropriate to attend.
