User group meeting
That time you've been waiting for is here again! Come down and join us for drupal and drupal related discussion this Thursday at 7pm at the good old Morse Institute Library, 14 East Central Street, Natick, Massachusetts.
We'll be doing the usual lightning talks, there will be a highlight report from the latest Boston drupal all-star meetup, and probably a fair amount of discussion about DC2009 sessions.
We will be in study room 1C, same room as last time, library personnel will be able to direct you to it.

I'll be coming. There's
I'll be coming. There's quite a variety of things I could talk about. My focus has been more on workflow optimization, so I could go over version control, database syncing, staging, ticket tracking, etc.
Wish I could go to this -
Wish I could go to this - have a meeting in Amherst that night. I've wanted to learn about database syncing.
I just found you...
So I really wanted to attend a meeting of this group. Just a bit of background, I just (as in a few days ago) found this group. For about a year I thought I was the only person in New England who was involved with Drupal. Silly me...
So, as many of you may have experienced when you first started using Drupal, a certain solitude, I just found this group (yes, I know I should have actually looked for it) and I'm beyond excited.
I look forward to collaborating and meeting each of you, unfortunately I can not make this Thursday, but hope to see you all soon.. .

It's a shame you guys can't
It's a shame you guys can't come! However, we'll likely have another meeting in about two weeks (the 26th) or after Drupalcon. Pretty much the only thing I talk about is workflow since I've been obsessing about it for the past two years. So wherever I am, you'll find that topic of conversation :)
Scott, I felt the same exact way! Drupalcon was in Boston last year, and I met up with Ben there. I was so EXCITED to finally be able to "talk Drupal" with someone. There's now a huge amount of Drupalers in this area with Aquia having set up their home base in MA, and the Lullabots having a couple people in New England. The major universities are also embracing Drupal, creating quite an economy supporting Drupal shops.
But we will
But we will attend soon, given more advanced noticed we will make it.
Oh and yes... You've nearly nailed my position precisely. Last year we didn't feel informed enough to attend Drupalcon in Boston (huge mistake... should have, ugh). This year our involvement and the growth of Drupal is so significant that we are better equipment to be involved with the community.
Again, I just can't believe how many people are Drupal users nearby.

Great to see some discussion
Great to see some discussion here already!
I promise we'll get the next meeting posted well in advance so that everyone has a chance to put it in their schedule. I'm sure there'll be plenty to discuss after drupalcon...
Report-back
Seven people in attendance (all right, mostly in or friends of Agaric), good conversation, and a secret plan hatched to bring Drupal to local governments.
Next meetup already planned, same place, same time, Thursday, February 26th.
