Sounds interesting. I'm London-based, but up for a different conference straight after anyway, so could pop across. Have you spoken with the London Drupal Group organisers? I may be able to help out with organising or with running a session, if that appeals.

V keen to come along! I'm

My cousin is getting married on that day and refuses to move the date - selfish moo.

I'm interested in attending. I work at The Economist and we are switching to Drupal right now. It would be great to meet Drupal rock stars. I would be travelling from London.

New news?

DanielJohnston's picture

Not wishing to start worrying about this too soon, but are there details of venue, possible places to stay, possible sessions and the like floating around yet? I don't have a place to stay in Manchester and rooms book out pretty quickly sometimes.

Also, I'm happy to run a session if wanted, although it will necessarily be on non-technical topics!

Any information about registering or sessions yet?

Pam-gdo's picture

The event is definitely still on! There will be 120 places available and I'll be announcing registration details real soon.

We've got some excellent prizes to give away courtesy of our sponsors too :-)

Many apologies for the lack of information to date - hoping to have this rectified by the end of the week.

O good

Registering on the drupalcamp website is only for submitting and rating sessions, forum posting, etc. To actually claim a ticket to the event (one of the 120 available) you'll need to use the http://drupalcampuk.eventbrite.com/ link.

Is this for me?

David Henry's picture

I've very new to the world of Drupal but I can see that CKK and Views2 will be demo'd, these look like major parts of getting one head around Drupal.

I'm not a programmer, is this event for me?

very new to this world

Absolutely

ajevans85's picture

Absolutely

The website for the event only went live properly on Thursday after a group of us at the North West meetup had a good code slog in one of the bars in Manchester which is why it's a bit light on content / session submissions at the minute.

CTISN.com aim to provide / help out with workshops on getting Drupal installed, configured, our approach to creating drupal sites, key modules we consider as part of a basic Drupal site etc.

We also aim to provide a talk on what Drupal can do for your business. The digital sector is booming in Manchester and digital agencies popping up all over the place. Using Drupal and as a partner to many of the Digital agencies in Manchester CTI has grown threefold over the past 18 months. CTI will discus what Drupal can do for you as a platform to rapidly deploy feature rich cost effective websites.

We are in the final stages of preparing are session submissions and they should be on the http://drupalcamp.org.uk website shortly.
