I thought this week might be a good time to have a local Drupal users meet-up to just kind of talk shop and see what's on each other's minds and plates as of late, and see who all is going to be heading to D.C. next week for DrupalCon/discuss the schedule, et cetera. It's been awhile since our last meet-up so I thought I would see what everyone else thought about a meeting for this week, possibly Wednesday or Thursday, and see if it worked for a decent percentage of the people for this week..
Thoughts? questions? considerations? complaints? :P

Thursday's out and Wednesday's iffy . . .
I certainly won't be able to attend on Thursday, and I'm not sure about Wednesday. I have a few things going on, so I'm thinking I probably won't be able to make it this week.

kind of needless to say, now, but I decided due to lack of feedback about a meeting this week we will just schedule one for the week following DrupalCon. Incidentally, who all in Las Vegas is attending DrupalCon this year?

Vegas Drupal Newb Seeks Local Meetup
Looks like there hasn't been much local activity among the Vegas Drupal folks for about a year. I just started getting into Drupal and am a non-programmer. I could definitely use a little more guidance than what I'm finding online - like a little one-on-one time to help me implement my ideas. Is anyone still in Vegas? Anyone interested in getting together?

It is a shame that nothing has happened formally in the Vegas group for a while now. I would love to get it going again. I feel like there is plenty of drupal going on in the valley, it is just that nobody is talking about it here in the group.
So, let's just start to meet. I think that once the silence has been broken, we will see a flurry of activity. Let's talk specifics, anyone have access to nice place to hold a meeting? I think an informal hang out and get to know who is out there using drupal would be great.
