Since poll.module doesn't allow a description, I'll put it here. I am wondering why updates to groups on g.d.o are moderated, especially considering that project updates are drupal.org aren't. Specifically, when a group is edited this message is displayed at the top of the homepage: "The post has been submitted for moderation and won't be accessible until it has been approved." I decided to pose the question as a poll to aggregate a quick summary of opinion.

this is a feature/bug of 4.7 moderation system. see http://drupal.org/node/38451

Hey Moshe,

If you, as the g.d.o web site administrator, CAN choose whether or not updates/edits to group home pages ARE moderated, I see this as a feature.

If you, as the g.d.o. web site administrator, can NOT choose whether or not updates/edits to group home pages ARE moderated, I see this as a bug or, at the least, as an UNdesired feature.

Do you have the ability to choose? At this time, it sounds from your reply as if you do NOT have the ability. I added a "follow up" comment to http://drupal.org/node/38451.

Thanks for all you do!
