Interests / Country fields in the groups.drupal.org profiles

Someone asked "How do I find Drupalers in my country." and it sparked a few comments here:

I noticed that on drupal.org's "my account" info under the "Personal information" tab, there is a "Country" drop-down menu where I was able to specify my country.

It would be great to "poll" the groups.drupal.org community to see what it would like added to groups.drupal.org's "my account" profile tabs.

So if some admin would create the functionality that would be wonderful.
