hi, drupal NW!

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi,

I am fairly new to drupal, but I am currently a senior progress open edge analyst programmer.

I am in the process of starting my own company and I'm very interested in drupal. I'm working on A couple of my own projects and also a few small web sites to get started as well as hosting and seo.

Is it worth me coming to one of your meetings? I haven't got any issues as such or anything to contribute, but I would like to get myself into the drupal community.

My aim is to get enough income to run my business full time...but that's besides the point.

Cheers,

Paul.

The meetups are good for people of pretty much all abilities and backgrounds. Was looking into starting my own company a year ago and started coming to the North West Drupal User Groups. There are programmers there, site builders, people just generally interested in Drupal.

Hi Paul,

You might want to take a look at the NWDUG group on Google Groups: https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/nwdug

It's generally better attended than the Drupal.org site, IMO.
