Hi,
I am fairly new to drupal, but I am currently a senior progress open edge analyst programmer.
I am in the process of starting my own company and I'm very interested in drupal. I'm working on A couple of my own projects and also a few small web sites to get started as well as hosting and seo.
Is it worth me coming to one of your meetings? I haven't got any issues as such or anything to contribute, but I would like to get myself into the drupal community.
My aim is to get enough income to run my business full time...but that's besides the point.
Cheers,
Paul.

You might want to take a look at the NWDUG group on Google Groups: https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/nwdug
It's generally better attended than the Drupal.org site, IMO.
