I had some free time over the past couple of days and I finished a rough draft of a Drupal 7 Omega version of the UW Madison Theme. I have added it to GitHub and you can download the theme at https://github.com/nmillin/uw_madison_omega.

Read the Readme.txt file to have a walkthrough on how to set it up using Omega & MegaMenu.
Hopefully I can demo it out at a meetup soon & get some feedback on what to do with all the white space for the content region.

Thanks Arron. I talked to Doug and John and I will be demoing this on Feb 7th, 1-2pm, 274 Van Hise. I have made some additions to the theme (color tweaks, not requiring Mega Menu, & more) that you can get the newest version on GitHub (link above).
It would be great if someone could demo SASS because I have heard some really good things about SASS, but I haven't tried it out before.
