Drupal Modules & Related Software

• NetBeans - development environment for programming languages like PHP, with Drupal wizards and support.
• Open Solaris - an operating system Sun says it'll be a champion for Drupal servers.
• VirtualBox - run multiple operating system environments on your desktop. Learn Linux, run Windows, or emulate that server you're scare to mess up. Works on Mac/Windows/Linux.
• Subdomain module - a lightweight companion to pathauto that extends URL rewriting to sub-domains, allowing you to automatically place Drupal site content onto sub-domains.
• Domain Access module - a group of lightweight modules that provide tools for running a group of affiliated sites from one Drupal installation and a single shared database. The module allows you to share users, content, and configurations across a group of sites broadcast sites for each sub-domain you create in a Drupal site, like groceries.com + milk.groceries.com + cereal.groceries.com.
