Would like to barter: my JavaScript programming for Drupal "audit"

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have a Drupal 6 site which is very important to me. It is a national site for Occupy Wall Street and I must make sure it always runs well. It is http://ows.nottoolate.info . I am willing to enter into a barter arrangement of time-for-time with some more experienced Drupal person (admin-level) to make sure all is well.

In short: I am looking for an individual(s) who is willing to take an administrator's look at my Drupal 6 site to do a site review / audit to see that all good stuff is installed, configured properly, ect. I will provide, free-of-charge at least an equal amount of JavaScript programming time.

ME: I have over 12 years experience making full-scale JS web applications and I taught JavaScript at the college level way back in 2000. Many of my JS apps are on display at : http://nottoolate.info . I have used jQuery since it was invented (about 5-6 yr ago). I know raw javaScript and this great library well and I know all about the DOM and browser and html and css, so as to be able to totally use JS in a browser for anything.

You: An experienced Drupal 6 person, who knows what modules a good site should have and how they should be configured
and anything else in making sure a Drupal site runs reliably and fast.

No money involved. This is a time-for-time (1omin-for-10min, etc) BARTER offer. This is more than a one-time offer, so more than one individual could "take me up" on this.

P.S. My Drupal 6 site make me no money (just serves our country -- in my view). I have little more to say about it than that, except that if you do not encourage Occupy Wall Street activism you may not like it and might want to tell me to "take a shower". IF YOU DO support OWS, you should be more inclined to help because perhaps I am serving a cause you believe it. (I guess this might make this an important P.S,)

By the way, am I posting to the correct forum? Or, is there some more specific place I should post this stuff. (I do want it local to the Twin Cities, MN).

How in depth are we talking

How in depth are we talking here? A review of installed modules and configuration, or things like server settings, caching, etc?

The site I want to make sure is good seemingly works very well right now. Again, it is: http://ows.nottoolate.info . I just need to prepare for possible loads (with Throttle??) and I have
some parts of some modules which seem like they would be a good thing not installed. I have other
modules (or parts) not installed because my ignorance of them scares me. That's the situation.
A few module parts I shut back off because they seem to interfere with a custom paging thing. BUT, I am at presen t not aware of any functional problems.

Another thing: The rights I give OWS Editors (now about 10 of them) are maybe what you would see
as insanely generous (usu. things only admins do).

I doubt I would need to install much more ....

Sorry, I did not address all you asked. I doubt I need many modules, though there are a couple recommended I do not have installed. (I have a lot of modules installed -- as I read the 5 books I read, I essentially installed all the modules anyone talked about).

I do have some caching check to happen (some not). I do cron daily. I backup the database daily. I try to be good. I am giving the thing 120 meg of memory ( that should be enough, correct?) .

I read 5 books, but only worked with Drupal (and it is Drupal 6) for the 3 months (Jan - Mar of last year) during the time I worked through the books. If a good number of defaults are fine and "if it looks good, it is good" is something that is true, I may have very few problems.

P.P.S. If you are pro-OWS, I can make you an Editor

If you are pro-OWS, I can make you an Editor on the site ( http://ows.nottoolate.info ) and you could see "the situation" -- perhaps that might inspire a person to give some input. As soon as I notice you register (or if you contact me and tell me you did) I will promoted you to Editor. You will find a lot of powers in your Create Content menu (click that link in the main top left menu -- and read all of the Create Content page, to appreciate what all is available). Then I would say: "Thanks for taking a look and considering helping."

Mostly I'm limited on my time. Last weekend was completely booked, and my time during the week is between thin and gone. I think I have some time on Sunday to take a look.
