Disclaimer: This is work in progress right now. It will be improved as the squad is built up and we find the best ways of working together for the common goal.

The main goal with Media Initiative Support Squad is to assist in the issue queues for the Media and File Entity modules to drive both projects forward. Including getting whole or part of File Entity into Drupal 8 Core.

To make things simple, we will use the Views Bug Squad as blueprint for this. It has been active since 2010 and have a proven record of functioning well. Thus, no point for us to reinvent the wheel.

If you are interested to join the squad, just contact Thomas Svenson either via his contact form or in IRC where he lurks out most of the time.

Reading the above mentioned Views Bug Squad page is recommended as it contains lots of good information that will help you be efficient in helping out.

Live communication is in the #drupal-media IRC channel.

Hi. We talked a while back about how I could help with the Media Support Squad. Then I got super busy and lost touch. I'd like to focus my efforts on working through old issues in the issue queue. Do you think we could set up a time to meet by Skype and look through it together? My sense is that there are a lot of issues in there that are really old and could just be marked 'Closed'. Once that's done, I could help to connect the other ones with people who may know the answer. Let me know.

Reccomend image resize module

Took me forever to figure out how to resize an image added via wysiwyg editor. Wow - trying to do something so simple caused me some frustration. Image Resize filter helped me out. Strongly suggest you recommend the module - if you plan to integrate then please make people aware of caveats. Thanks for great contributions!
