TimeBanking has become a hot topic in North America this month (February 2012). Two recent events have triggered tremendous responses from people wanting to join a TimeBank or start a new one. TimeBanks USA has been overwhelmed with inquiries from people who want to know more about starting their own neighborhood TimeBanks.

AARP Magazine featured an article at the beginning of the month that discussed TimeBanking. You can read it here: http://www.aarp.org/money/budgeting-saving/info-02-2012/time-banking.html

Then last week, CBC-Radio in Canada interviewed Edgar Cahn, founder of TimeBanks USA, to discuss alternative currencies and the money economy. You can listen here: http://www.cbc.ca/thecurrent/episode/2012/02/16/time-banking---prosperit...

32 countries and 6 continents have TimeBanks. The United Kingdom presently holds the record with over 19,500 members. North America is approaching 400 TimeBanks. The TimeBanking movement is accelerating and Drupal is at the heart of supporting the movement and its members.

Thanks to Christefano and all of the Drupal developers who are helping us build the movement.
