Help Andre Molnar win a Druplicon car!
The message below is from Andre Molnar, a long time fellow member of the Toronto DUG.
Please spend a few minutes to vote for him. We will then make him come over to Kitchener and show us the car with the Druplicon logo on it (and do a presentation too)!
Greatings Toronto Drupal folk,
I'm not sure how many of you might have heard about the fact that I'm entered into a contest to win a Nissan Cube. Maybe you've seen my tweets or caught it on Drupal Planet.
Basically, 50 'creative Canadians' out of a group of 500 will be given a Cube for keeps.
Why is this anything of interest to the Drupal community? Well, I had this crazy idea that if I were to win a new car for $0, I'd be willing to pay a few bucks and decorate that car in Druplicons and make a Drupalmobile of sorts. I want to turn that car into a moving Drupal billboard.
You can check out my latest blog post where I talk about the contest (its actually an interesting campaign to launch the car done entirely with social media and word of mouth - like now you've heard of a car you might not have heard about before)
Right now I'm campagning for votes. Part of the selection criteria is getting people to vote for your 'canvas' that shows off your creativity.
You can help make a Drupalmobile (or what I'm calling a DrupliconCube) a reality by visiting this page and voting.
Sadly you have to sign up to vote and there is no Open ID. But once you have an account you can Vote once a day! Every vote helps.
If you're interested you can also check out MyDrupliconCube where I've been posting various creative projects. (Free novelty module available for download there).
Anyway - Thanks for reading. Let me know if you think I'm crazy.

Thanks Khalid
Thanks Khalid for re-posting my plea.
If I win, I would be more than happy to cruise down to Waterloo for a meeting to show everyone the car. And would also be more than happy to present. Pick any topic and I'll do my best.
As of right now, I am 99th out of 500 with 51 votes.
I happen to know that another person in the contest is ranked 10th out of 500 with roughly 400 votes.
In short there is a lot of ground to make up. Placing in the top 50 votes doesn't guarantee I'll win, but it very much improves my chances.
So, if anyone thinks it might be neat to see something like this driving down the road, visit my canvas page at hypercube.ca and cast a vote for me.
Thanks.
andre
This is sweet - I hope you
This is sweet - I hope you get it. I think you'd have to drive it down to to the next North American Drupalcon!
Drupalcon For Sure
Yes! Looks like Drupalcon might be in California - so I might get to do the route 66 road trip that I've wanted to do.

I could also use your votes
While you're voting for Andre, I could also use your daily votes to help me win a Cube! Funny that you're at 99 Andre, that's apparently my rank right now too.
You can check out my canvas page or ninjacube.com
Anyone who can help a couple drupal-ers move up in the ranks is much appreciated.
