I always thought Alaska could be at the heart of another tech diaspora. "When SiValley gets too crowded, come to Alaska!" High quality of life, most wired state in the Union (last I heard anyway), North Slope server farms cooled naturally.... Forget the gas pipeline, I want fiber!

Sure your more than welcome to join and participate, and I have though about your concepts many a time , gimme the fiber(and the gas line) ill take the fiber first , But yeah you could say we are a wee bit eccentric up here. Though Daylight today: 5h 47m Gain of: 2m 34s 5 hrs at the moment gaining a whole 2 1/2 min by the day ;).
I'm in Wasilla originally from Anchorage.
