Alaska

For users of and developers for Drupal who are located in Alaska.

This is a bit of a bait to lure Alaskan Drupalers out of the woodwork. At least I'm assuming that there are others out there. I can't be the only one in the state.

Take the bait, join the group.

I see 15 people in the alaska list, thats enough to maybe start something. A drupal group certainly won't start on its own. So whats going on, where is everybody at, are we even interested in meeting up?

Wow, has Alaska never heard of Drupal?

Hi,

I am in Anchorage, have been here for two days. I am suprised at the lack of a developer community or meetup for Drupal up here. Are there any Drupal developers in the state?

... and I think about it frequently. Can I be a part of your group? ;-)

I always thought Alaska could be at the heart of another tech diaspora. "When SiValley gets too crowded, come to Alaska!" High quality of life, most wired state in the Union (last I heard anyway), North Slope server farms cooled naturally.... Forget the gas pipeline, I want fiber!

Hope you're enjoying your 30 minutes of daily sunshine. ;-)
