Hi guys
I'm a Drupaler from Australia, and will be spending a month in Thailand from about 7 May to 3 June. I will be in BK for 2 weeks (7 - 20 May) then Chiang Mai. I would love to meet some Drupalers in Thailand. Are you guys possibly having a meetup during that time?

Sounds like you might be getting into Chiang Mai at the right time to hit one of the bi-weekly Beercamp events here. We had one this past Wednesday, so that should mean one falls on Wednesday, May 23rd. Events are announced through @barcampcm and the Google Group.
They're pretty casual events, and not as sloppy as the name might suggest. Usually a couple Drupalers in attendance. Even if you can't make it to Beercamp, get in touch with me, I'd be happy to meet up.

I'm back in Chiang Mai
I'm back in Chiang Mai (actually Lamphun) 26th May - 21st June and would be interested in meeting other Drupalers there too. I won't be there in time for the beercamp on the 23rd but will try to get along if there's one on the 6th June. Also happy to meet up earlier if you guys are planning to. I'm also an Aussie Drupaler, hoping at some point to spend more time in Chiang Mai so interested to know what the web development scene is like there.

There are a good number of developers in Chiang Mai, though you wouldn't think so after searching online. Not too many organized events happening. The Barcamp/Beercamp CM events are probably the best way to meet people. You can also find a lot of interesting folks just by digging around in the list of @barcampcm followers.

Hi Ken - for sure! I'm staying at Lanna Lodge near Loi Khor Rd. It's very convenient to the east side of the centre. I'm under the pump to finish a project right now so I can't spend a lot of time hanging out, but I would still enjoy a coffee :)
