How to modify appearance of pages other than the homepage (Acquia Slate)

Hi all,

First off, I'm very impressed by the Acquia Slate theme. All things considered it helped me to decide to switch to drupal for good.

Perhaps on the Drupal side of things I am quite the newbie but I catch on fast. So if anyone could please help me with the following:

I would like to customize the look of the pages other than the homepage. For instance, the Acquia Slate theme shows a graphic on the homepage but not on the other pages. This graphic is also the container of the navigation menu which I set to be expanded. On the other pages though, it disappears. How can I set this menu to appear on all pages and will I be allowed to change the graphic on every page?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

MultiBlock

Thanks for the kind words!

Those are separate regions, so if you want to duplicate the menu you have in the front page preface region in another region on inner pages, you may want to check out the MultiBlock module: http://drupal.org/project/multiblock

Regions and containers

I am having the same problem as Alf and I think I understand your reply - but its not just graphics in the front page preface region that disappear. I have the Navigation Menu in sidebar first - on the home page it appears within a nicely drawn frame but as soon as I select a page the frame disappears and the menu title changes from white to orange. Even like that its still a vast improvement the theme I was using before - but is it supposed to do that?

Regards,

Dave.
