User group meeting
Hi all! Based on the very short notice for this week's camp, we're scheduling another planning meeting for next week.
Meeting: May 31, 7:00 p.m. at Mother Fool's Coffee House
Planning status
The date and venue are already set.
Developer Summit: July 26-27
DrupalCampWI: July 28
Both events will be held on the UW Engineering campus and both events are free. This meeting is about planning DrupalCampWI specifically.
Outstanding topics
- Website under development for both events at: http://dev.midwest-developer-summit.gotpantheon.com/sponsors (sponsored by Pantheon, admin by Karen S.) Note that some content on the site is currently incorrect and/or very draft.
- Sponsorships -- how does this work with one website for both events? Do we need a separate pool for the camp?
- Food contacts/donations
- Speakers -- We suggest just opening the camp for talk submissions (since many good speakers may be available after the summit) and then perhaps paying trainers to do intro to Drupal & intro site building sessions.
- Status of education track?
- Session selection and organization?
- Others?
