Something the SF group does that we might consider is they usually have both a technical presentation like this, and a presentation of a Drupal site that somebody is working on, or a cool one they'd like to share with the group. This makes for a more interesting meeting because there will be some varied content that will appeal to users of all experience levels.

I would love to put my sandbox on the screen and get you guys to show me the ropes ... live!!! I am a much faster learner if I can see it once.
I can have a drupal install with zen and zen subtheme ready to roll. Love to see a sliced up psd loaded live into a drupal site. It would be awesome to pick a open source theme that is already sliced with a ready a prepared html page and css and see it converted to a drupal theme live.
