I am getting into OP 3.0 and I just wanted to point out that the gallery content is cumbersome because we can only upload one photo at a time.
Are there plans to change this?
Also, how would one go about configuring the gallery with a slider or slideshow?

The Drupal Media module provides functionality for an excellent, robust multiple image uploader.
