Let's get this started!
I really want to get started on organizing a Lincoln (possibly Omaha) monthly meetup for us Nebraska Drupal users and developers, because frankly, I need to get out of the house. :) So to get started, I'd like to know if everyone has a preferred meetup day of the week. Obviously the weekday choices would be evening meetups, so let me know when you're available!
As for location, I was thinking one of the public libraries in Lincoln since they have pretty good wifi and it should be pretty easy to set up something regular. Of course if you have any suggestions or prefer the restaurant route or something different, let me know!
Should we have just one meetup a month? Should we have two (one in Omaha, one in Lincoln)? Should we alternate between the two?

A Vote for Omaha Meetups
I'd be very interested in an Omaha meetup. (Lincoln would be harder for me to pull off.) I'm really interested in networking and knowledge-sharing, but to date I've only met a couple of other Drupalers in state. I'm available most any day but Thursdays and weekends. (I listed my preference above, somewhat arbitrarily, as Tuesday.) If something gets started close enough I'll come faithfully.

Omaha is close enough to Lincoln that it wouldn't be too much trouble to get up there.
If we were able to get more Lincoln people in I'd like to see it alternate eventually but I think it's more important to get something regular going first.
I know there are a few people at UNL that would be interested in these. I'm sure they could host something if one of those folks got involved.
There is also at least one other Lincolnite that I know, and possibly some more Omaha people. I'll get in touch with them and see if I can't get them involved as well.
On a final note, my company, Pickering Creative Group, had expressed some interest in possibly hosting meetups like this awhile back. If a Lincoln meetup starts to materialize, our office might be an option as well.
I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow local Drupalers (Drupaliers?, Drupalors?)

After a bit more thought, it would probably make the most sense to have a meetup every month and alternate between Lincoln and Omaha. Personally, I'll travel to wherever it is within reason. :)
It would be even greater if we could get local Drupal-using companies to help regularly host in either city so we don't need to worry about reserving space in a public area, etc.
