this is definitely a contradiction to one of the consensus arrived at the IRC chat today.

DrupalIndia shall be Best if it works independently without the interference or shelter of any other organization.

Besides, I have been to this place last year and it is pretty much inaccessible with having to walk a long distance from bus station and also towards one corner of the city.

I would suggest the place to be something like Lamakaan, or a Coffee Day or any thing located centrally, prefereably towards the heart of the city, Punjgutta, making it accessible to all.

Lamakaan is also the host to most other meetups, has good wifi and canteen facilities, easily accessible by public transport.

We have had a meet up at Lamakaan last time and it all went good. Lets do it all at one place, I see that two events are going simultaneously for Hyderabad.

Lets co-ordinate. I have never been to Swecha office before, but I think Siva is just proposing the location, Swecha office may help in providing the space, but not going to dictate any thing, we all will be involved and do the discussion and finalize the things.

Axelerant office being accessable to Hi-Tech city, Gachibowli, Kukatpally..
I propose the meet to happen at Axelerent office, Miyapur. It is closer to the IT hub(Hi-tech city, Gachibowli, Kukatpally etc.).
We also have a good wifi connectivity & snacks arrangements...

I see the meetup below posted quite a while back on September 18th which is listed on the landing page of the group, I don't understand the reason why we should be having two of them happening simultaneously.

Anyways I am signing up for this also and decide which one to attend based on the quality of content and speakers. Personally for me travelling 5 kms more is really not an issue, when there are quality speakers who have actually contributed back to Drupal.

Hello Keerthi and dharam,

I suggest that for now let us go with the venue as swecha since the time is limited and would be difficult to change venue at this time. I knew that this place is not so easily accessible in terms of transport, but let us try it out for once.

We would definitely need venues for our regular meetups and if organizations are willing to provide their office space for the meetups, then lets use them. Next meetup, we can plan to have it in other location, may be in axelerant office or lamakaan or in azri office.

Hi all,

It was nice meeting all of them who attended the meet. Here are the minutes:-

1. Suggestions came to organize more developer oriented events like code sprints, Barcamps, etc.
2. Make the Group website & mailing list active
3. Organize a 'Drupal Hackathon' on Oct 27th & 28th. People can come to Swecha office or join online from IRC channel #drupal-hyderabad
4. Anwar & Siva will represent the Hyderabad region for DAIndia
5. Try to pull more drupalers around hyderabad for the Hackathon. Should also invite good drupalers all around India to join the hackathon.
6. Anwar, Siva, Sandeep & Sashi will help organize the hackathon
7. Animesh & Ravi will keep updating the group portal
8. Shiva will create a youtube channel to upload all videos recorded from sessions and post them in facebook
