I am determined to break our meetup hiatus, so I have decided to rent the Library meeting room at Herndon Plaza (near Fashion Square Mall) for a meetup. I did have a few offers for meeting locations, but something in me wishes for a central location with ample parking was high on my list for this first meeting back after such a long break.
Subject: Calendar and Beyond
I have been working on Calendar-based Drupal websites for years now, but recently I have built two fairly complicated sites with displays, filters, and room reservations that I would love to show off. I did an unplanned version of this at a recent meetup in Cocoa and people seemed impressed.

Feedback on date / time
Since we have not ever had a weekday meetup in Orlando, I don't know what day works best. I chose Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30, and the Library costs $25 for a room reservation. I am told they have lots of seating and there is potentially a television we can hook up to, although I will be bringing my projector and a small screen just in case.
There is a very good taco place - California Burrito Express - close to this venue. We might like to go there for a bite to eat afterwards.

Since (many of us, anyway) seem to be flexible in our schedules, could we look at this during a weekday morning? or even afternoon? Just curious.

Dan, as far as non-evenings go, we do have the Coworking days on the last Friday. I don't know if Andrew has made the event for this month yet. I don't have a problem with doing a lunch and learn if we think people can make it.
