I've been asked by a client to get references for Liquid Web and their Storm Servers VPS solution, but I'm not able to get any through Liquid Web themselves. Can anyone recommend them, or does anyone have bad experiences? Thanks!

Liquid Web
we have a fair number of projects on LW VPS, Storm VPS, and dedicated boxes. They have a conscientious and quick-responding support team. It's easy to deploy new instances. Their sales staff is great.
The storm products have been difficult to differentiate from traditional VPS in most ways. This is a good thing from my perspective. I've worked with other could-based hosts and the "cool" cloud products are sometimes a bear to use from the perspective of a production house.
So LW's "feel" more like traditional VPS in how you interface with them but you do have the ability to add resources to your instance as the site scales. You can even push it into a a Storm dedicated server without migrating the site to another server. Though at some point, the true dedicated boxes may be more beneficial in high-performance or high-security applications.
They're large enough to provide the necessary infrastructure and support without being so large that you become a number. Sales has been very generous with some of our growing, startup projects.
We like them a lot as a host.
