Does anyone know of a way to create purchase orders for vendors using Drupal and Ubercart ? I'm not talking about using purchase orders for a purchase online, but a purchase order for your vendor if your company uses drop shipping.
I have a client who uses Drupal 6 with Ubercart and they get orders for nutritional supplements. When they receive the order they simply have the manufacturer drop ship it directly to the customer in order to avoid overhead and inventory. At times a customer places and order that will involve shipments from different manufacturers. Right now I use the "mail invoice" option and they use that for the order and shipping info. However that gives them a little more info about the customers and also shows them what items are being ordered from other manufactures and isn't overall very professional.
What I need is something that would basically create one or more purchase orders generated from a scaled down copy of the invoice info. I could then create purchase orders for each manufacturer that would simply tell them what items I need shipped and the shipping info.
Any ideas or am I missing something ?
