I think I heard the guys for the JHB meet-ups talk about previously trying something like this. It would be a boon for sure to try to involve others nationally at the meetings themselves and we'll keep an eye out for options to do so. For the moment we're just trying to get some people together though, no idea what the reception would be yet. We can put this on the agenda though.

Thanks for attending Greg, Lee, Robin, Ivan, Alex, Lance and I was there too ;-)
It was less formal than anticipated and we did not yet form any formal structure other than associating; also no minutes, but we will post notes and there were some awesome ideas.
I'm still all new knowing the guys that were there, but I can relate that I would feel very happy to know you are setting up to actively and formally promote and assist the Drupal community.
Thank you for four long unexpected hours of your time on a mid-week night like this and even committing to more of your time and mental capital in times ahead!
