Theme trouble after Drupal 7 update

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi all,

I'm updating a site from 6.23 to 7.22 for the first time in a while. Now that I've run the update, none of the 'out-of-the-box' themes seem to work. All the content is there, but none of the color, graphics, or correct fonts are used. (See attachment.)

I'm pretty sure I've run into this before, but I'm blanking on the resolution. Can someone jog my memory?

TIA!

Theme trouble after Drupal 7

Going from 6 to 7 is a Major update. You need to update the themes to their Drupal 7 versions. My guess is that your install is looking for a theme that is not there (since that theme is a Drupal 6 version).

Did you revert to Garland theme before you updated?

Solved, but not sure how

I've somehow gotten past the problem, but I wish I could tell everyone how. All I know is that I enabled one of the non-standard themes (Aquia Marina, FWIW). I used that for a while, then tried Garland again on a lark. All is suddenly well!
