Blogfest
The first day of Blogfest is very good. They have people from Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia present what's happening in their countries - citizen media, disaster relief, etc. Quite eye opening.
Remember someone has mentioned maybe we can do a site for NGO for free, just to demonstrate what Drupal can do. I can sure help line up a good NGO.
Charles (from Taiwan) has recently organized a competition with 3 teams representing Drupal, Joomla, and Plone (and from different countries). Task is to do a makeover of a nonprofit site within 48 hours. Sounds like a lot of fun.

@neweggtart are you saying
@neweggtart are you saying that there's a competition already going on, or there's going to be one and we should get a team together?

Competition
Oh Dave,
The competition was over. They actually did the makeover in 12 hours.
See the video here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hv5JosL170
The finished web sites are here
drupal.ngo.org.tw
joomla.ngo.org.tw
plone.ngo.org.tw
Maybe we can do sth similar in HK
P.S. For Drupalcon Asia, don't you think HK is the most logical place to hold this event?
Richard
One problem with the way that
One problem with the way that they did the competition is that each team created their own design. Thus the NGO is rating the design as well as the CMS/implementation, so it's no longer an apples-to-apples comparison. The CMS showdown at SXSW all used the same design created by Mark Boulton:
