Come on out to a Connecticut Drupal User's Group meetup on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 7pm at the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford.
Since this seems like it will be the first meetup in a while for the group, I figured we could spend a few minutes going around the room and introducing ourselves, and then maybe we can have one or two presentations.
I'm willing to present on any number of topics including a Drupal 7 preview, 45 Modules in 45 Minutes: The Best Modules You're Not Using, CCK, Views, Table Wizard and Migrate modules - whatever everyone want to see... Then again, if enough people want to present, I'll be more than happy to sit back and learn.
Thanks to buzzdcafe for setting us up with a place for the meetup!
The details on the location:
Janet M. Blumberg Hall in Hosmer Hall (up the stairs from Conference Room 1)

Interested in presenting something at the meetup? Leave a comment below.
Let's start spreading the word (Twitter, Facebook, Meetup, Gary's Guide, etc...) and see what's going on in the Drupal community in Connecticut!
Thanks,
-mike

One week away
We're one week away from the meetup - let's start spreading the word and see what kind of a turnout we can get.
As a full-time Drupal consultant and trainer, I'm willing to present on any number of Drupal topics including Views, lesser-known modules, module development, theming, ubercart - just about anything. Anyone have any special requests?
I'd love to hear what other people/companies in Connecticut are using Drupal for. Maybe each attende can do a quick 5-10 minute lightning talk about what they're using Drupal for?

My Interest
I would love to see a presentation on setting up an eCommerce site with ubercart which would include theming if that's possible.

room
I've asked to get a room with multimedia capabilities. I'll let you know.
Subjects that interest me:
* Upgrading from 5 -> 6
New room (same building)
I've moved the meetup to Janet M. Blumberg Hall. This is in the same building as the prior room, but has a smart board.
See y'all there.

Good to meet you all
... last night & I hope to come to some more. Can't wait for the schedule to be announced.
Agreed
Thanks again to Mike (buzzdecafe) for arranging the great location last night. We had 9 people show up for the first meetup in who-know-how-long - that's a great start!
I'm looking forward to seeing what develops!
