DC Drupal Camp

Abstract

The Washington DC Drupal community is growing. Washington DC is a national hub of web savvy organizations, and the number of DC organizations and individuals investing in Drupal is growing daily.

The Washington DC Drupal Camp program is dedicated to serving the evolution of drupal users, developers, and organizations in the DC area by producing events where these entities can mix and mingle and get something done caolaboratively while havign fun.

Identify Dates
Approach Sponsors
Announce on Drupal.org

Event Design

Events like these have happened around the country for all sorts of reasons. Our innovation on the general design here in DC will rely on local talent, local color, and local sponsors.

Local Arts Community Involvement is cited as an important contributor. Silona Bonewald from Austin says that the only way to get press with this kind of event is by connecting with the arts community so that the event is REALLY AN EVENT. Something noteable that the local press will take note of.
