We are in the final stages of launching a new site and need help from an experienced Drupal Themer. We’re looking for a freelancer who can come in to our office and help us convert a custom layout to a Drupal theme and then apply across many, many content types and pages.

Requirements:
1. 3-5 years experience in web, graphic design or a related field
2. Sound knowledge and experience with Drupal Open Source CMS
3. Excellent HTML, PHP and CSS skills
4. Ability to work in Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator

We are having our next MD Drupal meetup at PMG's office in Columbia. We will have access to our break room (plenty of room) with a projector, screen, whiteboards, and wifi.

Metro Systems Inc is searching for two PHP developers for positions in McLean, VA. Candidates for these openings need to be able to obtain a security clearance. In addition to technical skills, candidate tenure at prior positions is a strong consideration.

Responsibilities for this position are: design/develop web-base applications, intranet and internet sites. Clients are in the private and government sector. Candidate with prior experience in a larger corporate environment are preferred, but not required. The technical environment is: PHP 5, MySQL and Linux.

Ben and I will be in town this week from Wednesday to Saturday for the AppSec conference (security stuff, by the open source web application security project - OWASP). Rock Creek Strategic Marketing, a leading Washington, DC metro area branding, strategy, and communications firm, seeks a website developer to perform ongoing development and integration tasks for an on-site position in the DC metro area. In this position, you will work directly with the client to gather information, requirements, and enhance the website. Our ideal developer will have the following:
- expertise in custom Drupal/PHP/MySQL development
- expertise with symantic markup and CSS styling, especially for highly customized Drupal themes
- experience with module based development using Views, Forms, Webform, Ubercart and Solr
- experience with the Services module and inter-application communication
- sensitivity to visual design and a body of work that reflects this
- experience creating interfaces for CMS administration
