Tomorrow local Drupalistas will get together in Missoula before the Montana Programmers meetup, in the same part of town.
This will be an informal get-together to get to know each other and discuss what kind of local Drupal group we'd like to build. Bring your knowledge, your questions, your friendliness, and some sites to show off if you want.
It's not clear whether we'll have a private space or access to wi-fi, so be flexible!
After this meetup, many of us will head over to Ruby's (just down the street) for the Montana Programmers meetup. It's a twofer!

We were there!
We were there from around 4pm to 6pm. Maybe you went to the Sean Kelly's downtown by mistake? I tried to make it clear on the event listing that this was the Stone of Accord on Reserve. If we meet there again I'll make it even clearer!
We had a good time, and 5 people showed up. Stay tuned for an announcement of the next get-together.

To everyone else, Thanks! I really enjoyed meeting all of you and am very excited about the prospect of this group continuing.
I know it's a bit early to think about it now, but I'm happy to host a holiday gathering at my place sometime in December if folks are interested. Perhaps it could be a less-Drupal-related gathering (gasp!) with significant others allowed?

Glad to hear that there's a drupal group in Missoula - very cool. I wish I had been there - though my attendance at a training near San Francisco that week would have made it quite difficult. When's the next one?

Sorry we missed you at our first official meetup. We haven't scheduled the second meeting yet, and I know that the holiday season is quite busy for people, but I'd love to see us get a second meeting on the calendar.
Does anyone want to propose a date? I'm, most likely, going to attend the Do it with Drupal conference December 9, 10, and 11. Perhaps we could meet that week after, and I could report on the conference?
The next Montana Programmers Meetup is December 8th. You guys interested in meeting Tuesday, December 15th?

Probably out of town
So glad to see activity in our group!
I will most likely be out of town for a holiday visit home on Dec 15, but I highly encourage anyone who wants to get together and talk Drupal.
I will know my exact vacation days tomorrow, and will chime back in with possible other days between now and Christmas that might work for me. but my availability shouldn't be the main concern.
Also, I've been head-down trying to dig myself out of some big Drupal deadlines, or you would hear a lot more from me here on the organizing front. Hope to be much more active here in a few weeks. In the meantime great tp see democratic self-organization happeneing. It's your group, make the most of it!

Hi Andy - if we can include you - that would be better - but my vote would be to still have a meeting in December even if you're too busy. But please do offer any in-town possibilities.

Arg, been utterly swamped with a big deadline, leaving no time for aught else. Leaving tomorrow for 10 days, back on the 19th. I encourage others to meet on the 15th if they can, even informal get-together is very beneficial at this point.
I'm frustrated b/c I really want to put energy into growing this group. I will make it a new year's resolution.

Weekend meetup?
I'd love to make it to one of these, but since it's a 2-1/2 hour drive from Great Falls, mid-week evenings just won't work. If a weekend meeting works out in the future, I'll plan to come over!

Alright, I think we should have a meetup on the 15th. I'm sad Andy can't be there, but I understand how busy we are around the holidays.
I'm happy to offer my house (Lower Rattlesnake) for the meetup, but it's not huge. It all depends on how many we'll have in attendance. Should we just go for a downtown location instead?
