Hey hey drupal chix0rs :)

Just a note to make sure you are all aware that moves are afoot to organise a DrupalCon in Asia-Pacific. This is very early days, so if you are interested in helping to make it happen, please check out the official announcement and join the DCAPO group!

DrupalCon Asia-Pacific organizers invite you to participate

Asia Pacific encompasses two continents! Asia and Oceania.
Or, putting it another way, not Europe, North America, South America or Africa.

Are you in that part of the world? Do you have experience organising events? Have you been to DrupalCon and just can't wait to have one closer to home? Then please do sign up to the group and introduce yourself :)

It's really important to have DrupalChix involved in organising this event, to make sure we have lots of DrupalChix involved in participating in the event too!

Hi! I'm interested but I don't know how to help. I'm from the Philippines and I'm organizing small barcamps only. I'm really looking forward for the DrupalCon Asia.

There's not a lot to do at the moment - so dropping by and telling us you're interested is the first step and a great help! Great to know we now have someone representing the Philippines interested in helping out :)

Make sure you sign up to the DCAPO group to keep up to date with what's going on. At the moment there are discussions about an icon or logo to represent AsiaPacific.

Helping to spread the word about DrupalSouth - taking place in Wellington, New Zealand in 23-24 January - which is only a little over a month away now (is it really so close?)
