Time Zones and Calendars

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

It was an excellent meet-up in Cambridge last night.

Is there someone here who has a functioning 4.7 Events module with the BasicEvent. Could you share your settings for Admin->Dates->Default, Admin->dates->configurable, Events->Time Zone Input, Event->Time Zone Display. I can't find the right combination. All my dates are displaying one hour earlier than what is input.

I need to implement a community calendar for a site and it's just not working.

Event 4.7 requires a patch

OK, after more hours than I care to mention, I discovered that Event is indeed broken and requires a patch. The patch is found at:
http://drupal.org/files/issues/event.module.52481.patch
