2007-05-19 14:30 - 17:30 America/New_York Lets make the first Florida Drupal Users MeetUp a success!!!
Go to Group. Drupal.Florida for more info
Everyone is welcome. Come to the centrally located Orlando Public Library it's easy to get to see this map
* Agenda
o Short presentations about what kind of Drupal work is going on in Florida and code we've contributed.
o Mike Anello - "ultimike" would be willing to do a quick run-through about some of the OSCMS sessions he attended.
o Maybe even some introductions/lightning talks just to show off what we've done with Drupal.
o Maybe a couple of hours of informal presentations (four 30 minute presentations?)
o then some time afterwards for even more informal mini-hackfest?
* Post meeting meal - always good for networking. They're plenty of places in downtown Orlando that we could walk to.

I had planned on being there...
But my wife had to work last weekend which happened to be my son's birthday (on Sunday). So she promised him we'd celebrate today instead. She forgot about this meeting, I told her several weeks ago I was planning on going.
I hope it's a success and we can do it again real soon.
On a related note, I'm working on a semi-large site right now and am having a hell of a time getting a few things working the way I need them to. If anyone close to the Melbourne area would be willing to help me out I'd be grateful, I was gonna beg off some help at the meeting but since I won't be there virtual begging will have to do. :)
Good luck,
David
