Hi Sarath,
As of now there is no way to test the ccavanue in a test environment. I have experienced the same with my previous projects. The below link would help you somehow.

Thanks for the reply buddy..
Thanks for the reply buddy.. Is there any other good module for indian internet banking. Have u worked with the EBS?
The Commerce CCAvenue is out of Date!
The commerce CCAvenue is out of date and it has changed its API all together. This module won't work anymore. However, I done rewriting the code and uploaded the patch in one of the Issue queue here on drupal.org. There has been lot of modification in code and now CCAvenue needs third key encrytpion key besides merchant id and access code, that I have added in that patch. Also there has been change in encryption mechanism in new CCAveneue API.
For testing you need live CCAvenue account register with them. You can read the pdf file as muniraj mentioned.
The patch works fine for me on one of the projects I used. Still its not tested by community till now and I don't think the patch will be updated really very soon as the issue queue dates back to very old March 2014 I suppose.

Also check out this module PayUMoney: https://www.drupal.org/node/2406395
this works fine and has also a test account. Works fine.
There are other alternatives like HDFC, ICICI and others but I haven't used them yet.
Thanks for the reply sarath.
Thanks for the reply sarath. As the below comment suggests, I think ccavenue is not giving issue. only thing is there is no sandbox testing environment available. PauUMoney module is not yet released I guess. I prefer to go with a stable released module. Any other suggestion for internet banking?
Its working
Hi guys,
This module is working fine. Unfortunately CCAvenue is not providing any Sandbox account, instead we can make Re. 1 as default amount and test.
Just change Production account to Test account, it works well.
Hi Sreedhar, Do we need to
Hi Sreedhar,
Do we need to pay the annual fee(Rs 1200) for getting the Merchant ID and api from ccavenue? I am trying with the zero plan.
Its related to Payment Gateway
Hi Sarath,
There is no zero plan in CCAvenue. As I said above CCAvenue is not providing any Sandbox account. We need to pay and get it if we need CCAvenue payment gateway.
No. You need not pay Rs.
No. You need not pay Rs. 1200/- for first year. However at the end of year they will send you mail to pay the annual fee or if you don't pay they will deduct automatically from your CCAvenue account when there is money available in your merchant account. However, to use CCAvenue you need to submit documents after registering even for testing. Only activated domain can test or use it. Or you will always see error. BTW when you activate your account you will find what I was talking about. CCAvenue API has changed and it not using same URI as that is now in this module.
Thanks for the reply
Thanks for the reply sarath..
So Cant we use this module for development? Is there any development version with the new API integrated?
As of now CCAvenue is
As of now CCAvenue is migrating their pre-owned clients to use new improved version of API. Well thats why accounts created earlier will not show any issue with current verison of Commerce CCavenue. You check the merchant login page you will find that they clearly specify that they are migrating their old customers slowly. As for new customers current CCAvenue module won't work as their is most changes in API.
You can test CCAvenue, however for that you will need a registered domain with CCAvenue. There is no separate URI/URL for testing. You need to use the same production URI/URL and use Credit Card as payment method with card number 4111 1111 1111 1111 and cvv as 123 with any name for service provider. This is provided for new customers I think. The minimum amount should be Re. 1 or you will receive error message.
Also the new API they provided via Merchant login seems to be not correct either. So the patch mentioned by me earlier won't work properly either. Their API documentation states return status for successfully paid is success but when i checked while implementing it was not success but initiated.
Will need to check it out with them soon on this.
