I think if we are looking for
I think if we are looking for a fun Friday night event, we can order some pizzas and go to the Orlando Brewing Company. Alternatively, if we go to Emiliano'z, we can redirect people to Orlando Brewing or Redlight Redlight.
There are some really great places, but many of them are very small and pretty far away.
Some things I COULD put on this list.
Social Chameleon - great beer, locally owned, really good food, very very little seating. Also good beer.
Ethos Vegan Kitchen - parking is hard, and I think some folks will be turned off by vegan.
Dandelion CommuniTEA Cafe - same problem with vegan. Works well for a party spot - we could sit outside.
Sea Thai - just far away from the venue. Good food. However, close to Redlight Redlight.
Stardust - counter service only, not a sit-down restaurant. Good beer, cocktails, sometimes live music, VERY quirky, very specific to Orlando.
Brick and Fire Pizza - this is a nice place, and very close to the Orlando Brewing Co. They actually carry OBC beers in bottles.

Poll is for Saturday, right?
You mentioned in your comment "Friday night event." I think for Friday night, it wouldn't really matter where we go, as there will only be those of us who helped setup for the camp, a dozen or so people.
On the other hand, I do think that for Saturday night, most people might want to eat dinner somewhere before going out to get some beers, or go out to eat and drink.
Looking forward to the results of the poll. Are there any "local" spots by MindComet? Places like the ones we have closer to Downtown Orlando? Any bars/pubs with outdoor seating or enough room inside to accommodate the 20+ people we might have joining after dinner?

No, that's why there are no options on the poll
There really isn't anything "local" in that neighborhood. Maitland tends to breed more high-priced stuff.
In addition to all of the wonderful selections above, I tried to think a bit more locally, and I came up with the following:
There is the Colorado Fondue Company --- all the way down on Semoran?
Sam Snead's -- pretty close, but from what I've seen it's overpriced.
Anything Winter Park -- again, bad parking or high prices, but lots and lots of options here. I think Dexter's could be cool.
If we are looking for mega-cheap but fun, then I would choose PR's Taco Palace.
That also makes me think of Fiddler's Green, which would be fun, but always PACKED on the weekends - mostly with Rollins kids.
We could do something really simple like to to the Winter Park Pizza place and then go sample crazy wines at the Wine Room. Actually, that sounds kind of fun, eh?
