Dear All,

As we are getting closer to DrupalCon Asia, Drupal Mumbai is planning to conduct a series of meetups/Hangouts, intended to engage the larger community to engage and involve them in DrupalCon Asia.

These meetups/hangouts will be the interactive session where we will have members from DrupalCon Organizing team to help answer all queries related to DrupalCon Asia , be it Sponsorship, Participation, Sessions , new Ideas or suggestion.

Agenda for 17th Oct Meeting -

• Briefing on DrupalCon Asia

• Information on events, Sessions and Tracks

• Important Dates

• Some Facts and data points

• Sponsorship

• Q&A with community

Who should Join -

  • Any community member who wish to volunteer for DrupalCon Asia - Organizations seeking information on participation, sponsorship, involving their team in community

  • Members who have never been to DrupalCon Asia and would want to know more about DrupalCons

  • Members with ideas/thoughts to make this Con better.

  • Members seeking information related to event.

We will be having our first event on 17th Oct via Google hangout. Details of the future events will be shared soon.

We hear you. I do need to point out that it doesn't seem clear yet on this thread - how you wish members of other communities to be involved.

Let's also keep in mind that time-zone differences will also affect availability of Asean / Asian members. Mumbai is at least 2 hours ahead of Southeast Asian timezones:

Hi MarC,

You are correct, i will start a new thread to connect all the leads in Drupal Asian Community. idea is to engage Asian community and get their ideas, thoughts, inputs on other activities as well as participation. Community leads will have separate syn-cup calls which is dedicated to involve other communities and work together to see how different regional communities can participate in DrupalCon Asia and also connect with each other . I will initiate a separate thread and inform you.
