I noticed on the Drupal post that someone has been working on an integration with Sugar. Has anyone given it a test run yet?

it was me who did the integration, and I'm still waiting for any kind of feedback.. why don't give a chance? :)
Good to see the developer
Good to see the developer jumping onto this group. It's a good opportunity to give feedback, so everyone is running SugarCRM test it out.
I have installed the module onto my test Drupal site and set it up using the Wizard that comes with the module. The module was pretty straight forward to use, but I found one thing that made my experience a little frustrating. I created a "Personal Information" page that was set to display when users registered for the site. I created a first_name, last_name, and email_address field for them to fill out. This was really neat, but when the users signs up they have to fill out the Drupal information, as well as the SugarCRM integration forms. It would be ideal if the forms would be tied into the Drupal registration form and the fields could be mapped to the SugarCRM variables. That would be the most ideal situation.
That's all I have for now. Overall I thought it was really cool and fun to see it integrate with SugarCRM pretty easily. Are you still looking to continue development on this?

Is there a d.o. project page for the above 'sugar connector'? What is the core compatibility status... is it written for Drupal 5? Is the original developer still actively involved with it?

Currently project is half-abandoned, just because lack of interest from community (I mean, project has not been used in real environments apart from what I've done), and most of the time its installation required many custom specific tweakings that in no way I can get a 'base' status for this. So I just maintain a private version I use to setup and tweak on specific implementations.
