I'm working on a filter module that allows you to surround a chunk of text with [sms][/sms] tags. The module will highlight the text and append a "send to phone" button. The button will take users to a form where they can send the highlighted block of text in a message.
I'd appreciate any ideas or comments! Thanks!

Along the same lines would be the ability to send a link to a story via SMS,

Maybe the configuration could have a setting choosing how much text to add to the text, eg a shorter teaser of say, 60 chars.
The option to add a short 'user message' to the text would be useful.
