What should i do to put advertissement on openpublish, there are a space on the front page reserved for advertissement, but i don't inderstand what to do to put advertissement on that space.
can you help me Please?

For very simple solution: you
For very simple solution: you can just create a block that contains banner and place it.
For anything more complex you need an ad server like: OpenX (http://www.openx.org/). Most ad servers allow you to place some script in a block, though so it can still be as simple as creating and placing an Ad.
For precise ad placement you can use Context.

To place ad on those spaces, go to http://siteurl/admin/build/block/list/openpublish_theme (assuming that you are using the default theme)
Then you will see something like Homepage Ad Block 1, Homepage Ad Block 2, Top Banner Ad. These are those blocks where you have to put html codes in. If you have google's ad, copy the relevant html/scripts and place them in those blocks. To do so, click on the "configure" button next to each of those blocks and you will be given the option to paste your codes.
Remember to be aware of the correct "input format" when placing ads. The input format must not strip html/java scripts.

Ad module
What you can also do is this:
Download the ad module http://drupal.org/project/ad and install it. You may want to install the chart api as well.
After setting up the module's settings (please mind the fact that you will have to use 'raw' as default format in the global settings, that's an issue right now) you can setup your advertisements. This is quite handy because you can have several ad groups and channels and even have certain ads display more often than others. For instance, I have two groups. One for banners and one for square-shaped ads and I have advertisements from various channels populating these two groups, displaying in turn.
When you have setup your ads, just go to site building --> context. Because the Ad module generates blocks for your ad groups, you can simply remove the default open publish ads and replace them with your ad blocks.
This way you have easy to use advertising tools and detailed statistics on the performance and results.
You don't need the block listing page at all, that was new to me before open publish :)
People make mistakes. But to really mess something up you need a computer.

Hi,
I have deleted Homepage Ad Block 1, Homepage Ad Block 2, Top Banner Ad from blocks and thus see n/a in their place at home page. How can I recover them?

If you've actually deleted
If you've actually deleted the blocks, you can't recover them without creating them again. What you can do is simply remove them from Context so the page isn't trying to render blocks that don't exist. (Interestingly, I figured Context would be smart enough not to try to display deleted blocks, but apparently not).

In my estimation, it is one of the best modules there is. (except for that little raw, which is easy to overcome once you realize what it is)
It's great. You can have rotating banners on some pages, static banners on another. You can do remote advertising. I think you can do google advertising (a quick way to monetize your site at least a little) if you don't have a sales staff or time to sell it yourself.

While you are at it, can anyone tell me why that article is posting twice on the main page in a weird place? This is my second OP install on the same server, other one works great, this one out of the box starting posting the stories like that in the middle of the front page?!?
