Event type:
User group meeting

Location:

Institute for Advanced Study

(we are marked on Google maps)

Signs will be posted with the room assignment.

IAS is very near Princeton University. See here - http://www.ias.edu/about/directions - for directions and a campus map. Note that Mercer street is close for construction as described on that page.

A few possible topics:

  1. questions about Drupalcon and/or share what you learned at Drupalcon
  2. I could do an abbreviated summary of this session http://sf2010.drupal.org/conference/sessions/drupal-security-site-admini... and demo this module: http://drupal.org/project/security_review
  3. Intro to git

Leave a comment about any of these or propose something you'd like to see or help present.

Of course, we'll save at least the latter part for informal discussion at working together on problems or answering questions in smaller groups.

A nice summary of the expanding use of Drupal for government sites: http://govfresh.com/2010/05/gov-2-0-guide-to-drupal/

That focuses on mostly national level, but NY Senate is using it, and we could certainly discuss if people are interested.
