Theme broken in Explorer, works in Chrome/Firefox

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I recently upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 then 2.0 in the same day.
I've been working on the site in Chrome and Firefox. I recently loaded it up in Explorer, and it was totally broken. The theme had completely fallen apart.
Any ideas?

HI

Have you double checked your CSS?, make sure you have compression turned on in the performance settings, or enable one of the IE CSS fix modules if that is indeed the case.

Thank you

Thanks for your reply.
Where do I check to see if compression is turned on?
Or, how dod I enabble one of the IE CSS fix modules?

admin/settings/performance

Enable
"Optimize CSS files"

to see if it is the case.

If so then try as an example
http://drupal.org/project/unlimited_css
there are other methods and modules as well.

Thank you

I think I've fixed it.

How?

It would be nice to state if the solutions you were offered solved your problem or if you found a different solution.
Others will eventually read your post.

Good point

Yes, i believe it was the optimize CSS function that did the trick.

Buggy in Chrome, OK in FIrefox, slight problem in IE8

I have a theme I am testing on FF, Safari, Chrome/Mac and FF, IE8 on Windows. Chrome's display was "off" and setting the flag worked for me as well. IE8 is still a little off, I imagine I need to play with the IE7 Css file a bit to align stuff properly.
